CAPACITY TO LOVE AND BE LOVED
My greatest strength is my capacity to love and to be loved, which means that "You value close relations with others, in particular those in which sharing and caring are reciprocated. The people to whom you feel most close are the same people who feel most close to you." This strength has been an especially helpful asset during my time at Skyline High School, as it has allowed me to develop and maintain relationships necessary for success and for happiness. I value my ability to easily connect with people and to spread love and kindness to my peers. I have gained many friendships throughout my time at high school, some that have provided me with academic support, some that have given me wisdom and life lessons, and some that have given me some of my favorite memories that made my high school experience a happy and memorable one. These individuals gave me motivation to succeed, and we pushed eachother to work harder to achieve our goals. These friendships truly mean the most to me, and I believe that without a capacity to connect on a deep level with other humans, I would not be walking away from Skyline with such social confidence and gratitude for relationships, and not to mention the lifelong connections that I made with people.
This picture depicts a group of some of my best friends sporting their college gear. I believe that this image encompasses my greatest strength, as throughout high school we have all motivated each other to work hard and have supported one another academically, emotionally, etc. Now, we have all achieved those goals together while making some lifelong friendships at the same time.
