Words of Advice from Former Students:
- "Use a large notebook and follow the provided guidelines on the website."
- "Organize them in a bound notebook."
- "Get them done as early as you can and do them neatly so when you look back at them they are clear and easily understood."
- "Do them on time or even better, couple days before they are due to get a better understanding of class material."
- "Do the work, don't take up a lot of space but like also don't panic if you do. Don't start a new statement on a new page BAD IDEA."
- "Keep them legible and in good condition."
- "I would suggest to them to do the statements the night before hand and not cram it at lunch. The assessment statements add to understanding, and in order be engaged, you need complete these in a non distracting environment."
- "I think keeping things consistent really helped me: use the same color highlighter to distinguish statements titles, and write the prompts in one color while writing the responses in another color."
- "Get them done whenever possible, whether this has to be at lunch, at home, on the bus, wherever- but get them done. Then after listening to the lesson in class, go back and read over them."
