Invasive Crayfish Project

Between 2013 and 2015, Skyline High School students assisted with an invasive crayfish population monitoring  project at Pine Lake.  Our project focused on the invasive red swamp crayfish (Procambarus clarkii).  The data collected from the project was used for an extended essay report and has lead to two students earning the Hutton Junior Fisheries Scholarship at the University of Washington.  


I give many of my IB Biology resources away, for the benefit of students and teachers around the world.
